Mirrors in a Dark Room are Nothing but Broken Glass

Tiny broken pieces

of a shattered mirror

reflecting off a light

that never disappears

relentless little memories

scattered on the floor

emeralds dark glowing

alike the fire’s worth

When in the black reflections-

invisible yet mirrored perspectives-

do fade the simple hues

Its breath it will now loose

And
light becomes transparent

Leaving stark, the unlit room
